Jersey Fouls of the Week: Meet Brooks 'Scorpik'

Mars on Twitter

Sometimes a person doesn't have one favorite player. He or she likes everyone on the team and wants to make this known.

Note what the above fan did to point out adoration for the entire Anaheim Ducks roster. It could also be a random movie quote. Regardless, it’s pretty funny. Thanks to Mars on Twitter for that photo.

This was an interesting week in Jersey Fouls. We had an tribute to a famous hockey movie. An homage to Brooks Orpik, and a famous pop star showing up in NHL jerseys at two different concerts.

If you want to submit, make sure to email us at [email protected] or tweet to the hashtag #jerseyfoul. We’ll pick them up, and try to make sure to give credit where credit is due. We’ll throw them up on our Tumblr page!

Would appear this is some sort of takedown of former Carolina Hurricane, Alex Semin. (Kevin Buckheit)

HONORABLE MENTION

This past week, pop star Justin Bieber has made news for being presented an Edmonton Oilers jersey by Wayne Gretzky in Las Vegas and wearing an Arizona Coyotes jersey at a concert in Glendale. These are not traditional fouls, but they deserve to be noted just because Bieber seems to bring out strong opinions in the hockey community.

Here is Bieber in Glendale wearing a Max Domi jersey. Note, we've been told Bieber wore the jersey because he's friendly with Max's father Tie.

And with the Great One
