Cuba Gooding Jr. drops F-bomb on Stanley Cup broadcast (Video)

NHL on NBC analyst Jeremy Roenick interviewed actor Cuba Gooding Jr. before Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final.

When Roenick asked how the Sharks can win the game, Gooding accidentally dropped a curse word. The below video is NFSW DUE TO LANGUAGE.

“The have to f---kin bring it to them,” Gooding said before making a gesture and mumbling out of embarrassment for his mistake. He then discussed how the Sharks needed to “start to play physical again” like in their Game 5 win.

Roenick didn’t seem startled by Gooding’s language and cracked a small smile but mostly stood stone faced with the microphone.

This isn’t the first time there has been an F-bomb dropped on national television around a Stanley Cup Final game. After Game 1 of the 2013 Cup Final, Chicago Blackhawks forward Andrew Shaw cursed in a postgame interview with NHL on NBC analyst Pierre McGuire.

Gooding’s antics have created a stir at other NHL events. At the 2014 NHL Awards, Gooding handed out three awards. As our own Greg Wyshynski wrote about that 7-minute video, “Not since 'Boat Trip' have we witnessed something as misguided, ill-concieved and completely addictive featuring Cuba Gooding, Jr.”

Gooding also opened his shirt after scoring in a Chicago Blackhawks 'shoot the puck' competition in 2014.
