Apple gets patent for a headset that turns iPhone into a virtual reality display

The USPTO office has granted Apple a new patent for “Head-Mounted Display APparatus for Retaining a Portable Electronic Device with Display.” The patent describes that an iPhone can be used to act as a display of a headset that is worn by user’s on their head.
