CCBackground updated for iOS 8, allows you to customize the background of Control Center

If you were jailbroken on iOS 7, then you may have heard of a tweak called CCBackground. If you were a fan of this tweak or you’ve never heard of it, then keep on reading. CCBackground has been updated for iOS 8 and allows you to customize the background of your Control Center. Let’s go ahead and check it out.

To begin with, this is a free tweak so trying it out won’t cost you anything. Once you install it, it’s really simple to set up. Just go into your settings, make sure that it is enabled and then tap on “Select Image”. This will bring you to all of your albums that you have on your device. You can then choose which image you want to be set as your background on your Control Center.

Once you’ve selected an image, you can enable the image on the Control Center in landscape mode as well if you’d like just by selecting that option on the settings screen. Now that you’ve set it up the way you’d like, tap on “Done” in the top right hand corner and it will respring your device.

After respringing, you’ll see when you slide up your control center you have a nice and shiny new background. Here’s what mine looks like right now.
